First, all - we stress - of us should use a professional to help us with our financial life. We thought making money and saving some was a plan. If not for our choice in our mid 30's, to check out First Command, we'd be living off just our savings. Now, with our well invested money we will be able to not only eat, we can eat well. We can travel. We can live longer as we now have well invested money to take us down the road. We cannot stress how important it is to use a trained fininacial professional. We also use doctors, dry cleaners, and plumbers as they are experts at their crafts, not us. Getting old happens, earning money starts to get harder, so think of money like seeds. Don't save them in a jar, plant them, and they will produce supporting fruit, and make living not only possible, but easier. Thanks to First Command and our financial planner, Erica Brown we are financially ready to get older.
