This morning I went in to deposit a cashiers check from a local credit union.. I asked cashier not to put a hold on my check .. she then said she would have to speak to her supervisor .. I said that was fine .. I had ample funds in my checking account and I also told her to please call the Pearl City branch as I’ve had this account for over 50 years .. she then went to check with her branch manager Mark Benavides ..after waiting 20 minutes Mr Benavides came out to tell me he would have to put a hold on my cashiers check … I was ok with that but his arrogant attitude was appalling … he kept telling me I have to get to know you and told me four times is that all Mr Park.. I was shocked to hear his rhetoric .. I plan to leave a message to Mr Peter Ho CEO of BofH.. I would not recommend this branch at all.. if management cannot come down to the level of their customers & clients they need to do a readjustment .. I highly recommend the Pearl City branch …

The lines are too long. There’s at least 6 podiums but only 2 are open for business. WHY???? Yet BOH sees the lines but ignores their customers.

Don’t trust what they tell you or communicate to you via their online messaging service. I’ve never had this happen with any other bank, but they’ve misled or lied to me a couple times involving waiving fees or extending payment deadlines. The lies seem small but can negatively effect your credit score. The second star is because the building is nice, and they do have some good products.
