First time in this bank did not even know it existed, but a friend of mine had to go there to open a checking account and they had an amazing offer. If you open the account online then you can get $400 put into your checking account in 4 months. If you do an automatic deposit and make a certain number of transactions with your debit card, that's an amazing incentive to open a checking account. So while I was not interested in opening a checking account, this piqued my interest. Great customer service

This bank has been consistantly closing early for months DURING A PANDEMIC. ESSENTIALLY HOLDING EVERYONES PAYCHECKS HOSTAGE. THE THOUGHT OF A BANK CLOSING EARLY ON A FRIDAY AND EXPECTING TO STILL DO BUSINESS IS ABSURD. SO BASICALLY MY WHOLE FAMILY'S PAYCHECKS ARE OF ZERO USE TO ANY OF US UNTIL MONDAY WHERE HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE OPEN. I GUESS WE DONT MATTER AFTER THEY GET OUR BUSINESS. So in short dont show up at 4 oclock expecting to be able to cash your paychecks with bb&t. Edit they also moved the atm to one of the drive through lanes already in use. So if you dont have 30 mins to wait behind people doing regular banking then dont go to sylvania bb&t
