  Today I went into first citizens Bank at 3225 Peachtree Parkway I am a non-account holder, but was presenting an account holders check which was written to me today on October 7, 2025 I presented the check to the first teller and then she went and got her branch manager named Greg. I sold my car today at a local car dealership in which they are account holders at first citizens bank, the check was for $12,500. I immediately was told that there will be a seven dollar fee Because I was a non-account holder. I quickly agreed then after the manager was reviewing the check he decided to tell me that they do not have any money in the bank to cash this check and he will not have sufficient money for the next week to cash a check of this size in the amount of $12,500. I immediately called The account holder and put them on speakerphone and told him that the branch manager named Greg was refusing to cash the check that he had just written to me the account holder who had just written the check over the speakerphone question the manager why wouldn’t he cash my check the manager replied. He had several large transactions today and the bank has no more money and will not have any money for the next week so they dismiss me from the bank first of all they didn’t cash my check because I’m an African-American physician which they didn’t know at the time, but they were completely discriminated against me because it’s Suwanee right outside of Johns Creek area about a half a mile past McGinnis ferry Road on the right hand side again I was completely discriminated against because I’m a black man trying to cash a $12,500 check. That’s the only reason why he didn’t cash my check it’s not because the bank didn’t have any money. He just refused to cash my check even after speaking to the account holder over the phone. This is the service you’re gonna receive at first citizens bank at 3225 Peachtree Parkway if you have black African-American, I advise you to take your business elsewhere because they treated me like a slave trying to steal something out of the kitchen.   VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE, spacialy the lady by name Janett Mc Nally. hopefully have better training for her and learn how to speak with customer.

  I have been with this bank for several years a have personal and business accounts, lines of credit and a auto loan. Great customer service.

  they took over best bank and are to far for me to travel so I closed my account. They said they would send me a check for the $ I had left in my account but instead they sent me a $5 overdraft fee but I had closed my account. so i called the online service again and she said the last person i spoke with didnt close it completly so she would closed it and that I would have to go to the bank to discuss the fee.. a fee i never should have git because my account had money in it...it was a day ago ..its the weekend and now I get a letter for an overdraft fee of $41 dollars!!! how is that even possible. I will be going to the bank first thing Monday morning but tge last said I would still have to pay the fee.. I don't think so!!! This this was the worst bank experience. it should of been closed and now I have to pay for their mistakes!!!😠
