- JBJeff BarrettSep 19, 20251.0This branch was too incompetent to accept a deposit. They created endless amounts of headache trying to fix it, even debiting my account for $2,700 in a total mistake. Also, SouthState has purchased home insurance on a property in which I have a HELOC with them, eventhough they were properly listed on insurance and coverage never changed. I have spent hours on both of these matters. I would avoid this bank.
