Worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Customer service is horrible. If you deposit your pay check. Money will not hit your account till the next day. They used to give you 100 of it the day of and the rest the next day. But not even that anymore. You can perfect history. Don’t matter. And good luck trying to get a loan. They are the reason people have to get crazy interest loans off the internet. And they can see you making those payments on time for years and still,,, means nothing. Find you local credit union or keep your money under your mattress. I’ll be closing my account. Today was the last deposit I’ll give them. And of course. I won’t have the money till tomorrow. Enough is enough.

I recently closed on my late father’s house and deposited the proceeds into an account with Truist. After the closing, I stopped by this branch—which is literally next door—only to find out they do not provide a restroom for their customers. Considering that I had just brought a large transaction to this bank, I find it extremely disappointing and unacceptable that members are not afforded such a basic courtesy.

Refused to take my state-issued gun permit (just grabbed the wrong ID by accident), which is a government issued form of identification, for a company withdrawal - even with a debit card to the same account, in my name, in my hand. Instead, (because I can't run due to back issues) the teller made my 11 year old son run through a THUNDERSTORM to get my driver's license instead. Sorry, but that's beyond petty into flat mean. Done with Truist - this was the last straw.
