Opening account for child. Told to come in any time. Got there and was told no one could help, set up appt. Did that, showed up, told they couldn’t honor the appt since they were short staffed. Banker was rude and offered no reasonable solution. This is not acceptable.

I just opened an account here y this Truist location, I don’t know if all locations work like this one, but service is awful! Employees treat costumers like crap, especially a cashier with short blonde hair, don’t wanna mention her name, but I am totally regretting moving to this bank..

Absolutely horrific service. I counted 16 people in line and 2 people working. One lady just walked around supervising the line telling us they are short staffed instead of actually working. I sat in line for 43 minutes just for them to tell me they can’t do wire transfers at the counter and I need to make an appointment? The only bank I’ve ever heard that that makes you make an appointment for wire transfer. Won’t ever use Truist again, I am switching TODAY!

I *tried* to open up a new account here after leaving my bank of 10+ years because their only location close to me was over 30 minutes away. I opened up the account, tried to add someone to the account and was told I couldn’t do that over the phone. Came into the branch, guess what? Couldn’t do it there either because I was told by one of TWO very rude women behind the counter “she’s at lunch, can you come back in an hour?” Not sure why neither of the two of them sitting on their butts couldn’t add someone to the account. I’ve worked in a bank before and I know it isn’t that difficult to do so. Needless to say, we left and went to pinnacle across the street where we got much better service and the people there are MUCH kinder. Very thankful I didn’t use this bank and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
