- BDBabs DarnellSep 7, 20221.0If I could leave a minus 10 i would for Truist banks. I issued a stop payment on account but it went through anyway. I left several messages at every bank in town and never received a callback. When I called customer support I was told they had the stop payment request and email to confirm and I was charged. But that someone would investigate and call me, which they never did. I went into another Truist in person to handle it. I had to a ask the young teller to turn down her radio, it was so loud I couldn't talk. In the meantime, I have outstanding checks, but i did change banks. Everyone i know who used Truist is changing. You should be able to have a bank who answers the phone and not have your customer service go an automated voice mail.
