Terrible phone service at the bank on Riverside Drive, Macon, GA. Wanting to renew a CD and they can only do it with drive-through banking. Does anyone know how long that takes to do, it takes forever! I asked if they can start it going and drive-by to pick it up and sign it with ID and was told no, I have to wait in the line to do this because if they do it in advance then I might not come and pick it up! .The person I was speaking to was barely audible on the phone and so I asked for the manager. I did go by the bank within 10 minutes of my phone call and timed myself and sat in the line for 30 minutes whilst they drew up my new CD's and I deposited a check. Other banks are offering that you phone in and tell them what you need they do the work and give you a time to drive-through and sign and pick up the paperwork using your ID. This branch has endless people moving through who you don't get to know and they are very, very slow at doing anything.
