I opened a Truist Personal Checking Account on 10/23. My new debit card came by mail 10/31. I tried to activate my card via app, no good, then called the 800 number provided. I was told that my account is being closed due to fraud activity.
1. Opened the account 7 days prior
2. How can there be any activity when I, again just opened the account. 1st time card received called 800# immediately. 3. If I had fraudulent activity WHY wasnt I made aware of such? Never experienced such foolishness from a banking institution. Hopefully this review helps the next person. Stay away from Truist Bank!!!!!

This bank cant seem to treat people with respect much less know how to withdraw money from your account then wait two weeks to tell you that you owe them 3,000 dollars because of their system mess up
Unfair to have to pay back what they messed up
