If you are that busy,I feel sorry for You.I have enjoyed my relationship with wachovia and then wells Fargo,In 2016 while in Washington d.c. having a check card/ debit card got me off the street while protesting parties went a little too far and torched a limousine.I was there to observe only. Most all of my reactions with wells Fargo have been positive.I got some cash out of ATM also.

Takes forever for anyone to answer the phone. I called to ask them about their balance transfer card. The woman who answered said she’s never heard of that. She asks the branch manager they said the same thing. I tell her their website literally says which card is for balancing transfers and she tells me I have to come in to apply for the credit card. I ask her what the transfer limit is, she says she doesn’t know that I’ll have to apply for the card. I have called several other banks today and asked these same questions and Wells Fargo is the only one that was unhelpful. I’ve never used them before and I definitely don’t plan to now! Save your time and don’t even bother with them.

Recently, a relative of mine passed away in CA and I was appointed co-trustee on the trust. I have never experienced such a disorganization of a bank ever, until my husband and I walked into the Ft. Oglethorpe office of Wells Fargo Bank to handle the accounts and affairs that my relative had in CA. I spent 36 years working in the banking and finance world, and our experience there was a nightmare! What should have taken two trips to get appointed as a signer on the new trust account in CA, ended up becoming five visits to get everything finalized! Let's review the math. That's five visits at 44 miles round trip and this didn't include the waste of precious time and mind you, the HOURS we spent dealing with their estate care department over these visits. Every time the personal banker in Ft. O would place a call into their estate care department, she would get a different person who required different documents, it seemed like nobody knew the correct policy or procedure. Granted, they ATTEMPTED to help us get everything taken care of, but it still wasn't the personal care that we felt we deserved! We're thankful for the attention and respect we get from our own personal business at another bank in town, even after 25 years of great service!

Got a new credit card from Wells Fargo. Never dealt with them before. But had a quick question about how to do something online. Went into the Fort O branch. After seeing people that came in after me AND waiting over 45 min, I do NOT recommend this branch if you are in any type of hurry.

We never had major issues with our accounts, and we appreciated that direct deposits often came in early each month. However, it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone by phone, no matter how many times we called. This spanned over years and was not a temporary issue. Over time, this caused real problems for us and added a lot of unnecessary stress and delays in important matters. Their policies also made it unnecessarily difficult to manage joint accounts, POA matters, and they made it incredibly stressful to close the account after the death of one of the account holders. We eventually moved to a different bank that better fits our needs.
