  Went to bank to establish new savings and checking account we brought a check for over 100,000.00 to split between both accounts teller signed us in few minutes later we were approached by a young lady we proceeded to follow she stated she needed to complete something so we should wait quite ok we were then called to her office she ask for 2 forms of ID my husband did not have drivers license on person but had other forms of government ID she said no we needed utility bills my husband had his work ID his passport card his veterans ID nothing worked it would take 2mins to run to his office I ask her if we could proceed she said no returned us to lobby my husband returned she questioned where was check coming from then told us we needed 25dollars in cash to open one of the accounts only had my debit card and checks from other financial institutions again my husband ran to nearest ATM again we were returned to lobby by then I was completely frustrated my husband returned with cash she explained colleague needs to go to lunch and she included nothing matter then I lost all interest she went on to explain different fees and it would take more than 7days for check to be cleared by then I lost all interest so I said thank you and took my check to another bank agent was not accommodating felt as though we should not have been there for whatever reason or maybe bad timing

  Gonna do something I haven't done 🫣 (and hope that my first impressions were just a really bad day for one person maybe catching me on my grouchiest too, right?) I'm changing my rating SIGNIFICANTLY because I was so impressed with service I received on Monday, the Tax deadline, from the very kind Alicia when I went inside to get money orders for my daughter's unexpected debts. She was more than helpful. Not only did she help me with my transaction, she informed me of services I could use to access if I would like and how easy it was to do so. Info that I have had but had not really thought about recently. It was a thoughtful gesture. Her professionalism made up for the absolute kerfuffle I had experienced with this office with my mother's estate banking needs. When I went in, I had no expectation of actual assistance- to be blunt 🙄- I merely wanted to get in, get out, and get the taxes sent in. I anticipated a day full of standing in lines, when I had to, dealing with unpleasantness. 😕 Alicia really turned it around-- my expectations for this day- and inspired me to change the overall rating. Because- on such a busy day- with so many people- she took the time to be kind and informative- when really-- she sure didn't have to. ☺️ She IS a keeper-- I hope they treat her well-- maybe put her in charge 😏 If everyone could be so kind and informative...
