  I had an incredibly frustrating experience with customer service at Wells Fargo. Right from the beginning, Kim Coranson's demeanor was neither helpful nor welcoming. I visited to deposit cash into a friend's account after confirming via phone that all I would need was the account number to complete the transaction. However, upon my arrival, I was informed—through a snarky comment from Kim to the sweet teller who was helping me—that only checks, cashier's checks, or money orders were allowed for deposits since I was not a customer. Tyler, the store manager stated that “per the policy,” they can't accept cash from a non-customer & needed a check so that they can “create a record,” as if receipt books don’t exist and cash isn't guaranteed. After spending 15 minutes obtaining a money order, I returned & deposited it. After which I was informed that it would not clear until the next day. Kim was wretched, and Tyler, the store manager, offered no assistance either. There was a clear refusal to accommodate their own customers' needs, under the guise of strict adherence to their policies. I must mention that I left immediately and went to South State Bank, where I completed the same type of transaction effortlessly and enjoyed a much more pleasant experience. This experience has solidified my belief that Wells Fargo is, by far, the worst banking institution in terms of customer service.

  Take the extra ten minutes and drive to the Spout Springs location where they are actually considerate and empathetic. Horrible customer service while I’m trying to deal with an estate account due to a death.

  Not very helpful, extremely rude, and will pass judgment on how you spend your money. I do not recommend this branch.
