- FCFred ChaikenNov 6, 20251.0Wells Fargo has a terrible call system and help line. It is impossible to get a branch employee on the phone. They don’t pick up and then you get forwarded to a call center. For deposit issues, resolution can only be made at the branch, but you can’t get them on the phone. And, they refuse to release deposit holds until after the end of the hold even after deposited funds are confirmed to be in your account! Bank customer over 40 years but closing all personal and business accounts.

Michelle left me a voicemail to give her a call back and when I did they didn’t answer! 🤣 So please call me back Michelle, I’m just trying to get back my debit card .. that the ATM swallowed up and didn’t give back. I spent all of my free time in Peru trying to get this issue resolved over the phone. They could not resolve it despite promising this ATM would work in South America and did not let me withdraw cash. I have spent almost 1 year trying to resolve this issue with no return phone calls and I have $200 in credit card advance fees which need to be paid by them and the manager never gets back to me. The staff is rude and unhelpful and just waste your time. It is the same at any Wells Fargo office. They cannot provide you any information and stick you with fees when their products and services do not work and no one ever responds.
