As a business customer of this bank, I could not in good faith recommend them or their processes to anyone. At the time of writing this review, I've been in a dispute case since December of 2023. A police report has been filed, fraud report filed, and there has been no contact from the bank about my case, and still no resolution. The only updates I receive are when I personally reach out to find out the status of the case. Beyond this branch, calling into FCB Fraud Department is no better. They were supposed to email a DocuSign affidavit and I had to call back over a week later as I never received it, turns out they emailed it to the wrong email address. Of course, being a business customer, accounts are not covered under Regulation E so they are not obligated to provide credits - fine, but at a $22B market cap, I imagine a $1,000 fraud case is a drop in the bucket to do the right thing and possibly attempt to fight on your customer's behalf.
I've been a customer with two business accounts for 8+ years, and this is the first incident of fraud on any account. Not a single member of staff or management has offered to credit the account during this time. Not only that, going into the bank to attempt to rectify the situation, the bank manager relayed false information, leading me to believe the fraudulent account would not be closed after I moved the money out into a new account while the investigation continued. I also was told 10-30 days to process this, then later told 90-120 days by the Fraud Dpt. rep.
I have been able to work with a rep at this branch who seems to be attempting to help, as she was able to electronically get me the statements from the closed account leading up to this, but we still have no resolution. I'm appalled that something like this can even happen, and the lack of empathy or provisional credit, even with a police report, affidavit, and timely report that the unauthorized transfer is just sad.
TL;DR: Trusted this bank with my money and they allowed it to be stolen, with no attempt to make good.

called here ahead of time to make sure I didn’t waste my time when trying to set up a new bank account but when I got in I waited for 20 minutes without being seen, and then was told to just come back in the morning. Change my mind about going with first citizens because they don’t seem to care about a regular customer

Has a 24 hour drive through ATM contrary to what Google maps will have you believe. On the other hand, the ATM a mile down the road is closed, for the general populace.
