I know someone who was in stage 4 dementia and do have medical documentation of this and was still let sign a legal document. I do have an attorney looking into this situation
- PTPhillip TurnerJan 3, 20253.0I like FirstBank now, they have made a lot of positive changes that desperately needed to be addressed. The next issue that FirstBank needs to address is the condition of their ATM’s, and the lack of ATM’s. There is one close to my house, but it’s out of service half the time seemingly. I also would like to have a 24/7 number for urgent issues, like if my card was mistakenly turned off, which actually happened. I went to Florida, used my card, and FirstBank turned it off, thinking that it had possibly been stolen. I appreciated the thought, but I wish they’d had contacted me for verification first. But the worst part was that I was unable to contact anyone, due to their being no number to call until the beginning of the work week. If there’s now a 24/7 number, please advise. I’ve asked within the past 90 days, and was told there’s no 24/7 number. This is the only bank I’ve ever known to not have a 24/7 number for urgent issues. I will update my review based on if there’s a 24/7 number and if the ATM issue is resolved soon. I’m currently just moving my money to PayPal, which has more ATM’s available, which is just sad. Compared to most banks, FirsrBank is better, the staff is always nice and helpful, regardless of the location.
