    I sent my son $20 using Venmo. Something I have done more than once. Venmo showed the transaction correctly. However Truist sent me a notification saying that 2 twenty dollar transactions went through. I contacted Truist and told them that Venmo showed that only $20 was sent but they insisted that 2 twenty dollar transactions occurred the same day at the same time. I asked them to investigate. They put $20 back in to my account. When this happened, Venmo froze my account because they said that there was only one $20 transaction on that day, which is correct. But after calls to Truist’s “no customer service” center located somewhere outside the US, they can’t/won’t /don’t understand that they screwed up. And don’t even try to speak with someone from Venmo-nothing but recordings and waiting on hold for no one to pick up. Truist bought out my bank (BB&T) years ago so I did not choose them. I will be changing banks as soon as I’m back on my feet.

    I just left the bank, although I have been a customers for 25yrs ( Suntrust now Truist) I have only been in this bank two times. I just received great service from Lisa. I had three separate transactions to do and she took care of them right away and was very professional. Great service.

    This is not very customer friendly Branch and everybody there has a bad attitude . BB&T is a great Bank, however I try to avoid this branch like a plague.
