- HCHenry CambronOct 25, 20251.0I sent my son $20 using Venmo. Something I have done more than once. Venmo showed the transaction correctly. However Truist sent me a notification saying that 2 twenty dollar transactions went through. I contacted Truist and told them that Venmo showed that only $20 was sent but they insisted that 2 twenty dollar transactions occurred the same day at the same time. I asked them to investigate. They put $20 back in to my account. When this happened, Venmo froze my account because they said that there was only one $20 transaction on that day, which is correct. But after calls to Truist’s “no customer service” center located somewhere outside the US, they can’t/won’t /don’t understand that they screwed up. And don’t even try to speak with someone from Venmo-nothing but recordings and waiting on hold for no one to pick up. Truist bought out my bank (BB&T) years ago so I did not choose them. I will be changing banks as soon as I’m back on my feet.

I had three separate transactions to do and she took care of them right away and was very professional. Great service.
