- CCCarrie CarterDec 7, 20161.0Awful. We went in to get a line of equity but they pitched us a refinance. The deal looked good so we agreed to go forward. We sent in all the documents and filled out the application and spoke with the broker the day I dropped off everything to begin the process. I started following up a couple of weeks later and she kept given me the standard run around. Never could give me an update. Why? Because she didn't turn in the paperwork and start the actual process for almost 2 months. She finally responded to us after my husband contacted the branch manager. The rates went up during this period and she never locked in the rate. Total waste of time gathering documents and filling out paperwork. Completely incompetent.
