Unfortunately, this branch of Wells Fargo (Macon Rd, Columbus GA) fell short in every regard. The tellers were dismissive and unhelpful, and the branch manager showed no interest in addressing my concerns or ensuring the process was handled smoothly. This experience reflects extremely poor customer service and a lack of respect for clients conducting significant financial transactions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Wells Fargo or this location.
- TGThe GlitchSep 2, 20251.0At approximately 8:20 am on tuesday morning I walked into the bank and spoke to the most unmotivated and completely rude bank associate named Erin. She was wearing a cardigan and glasses and is the type of employee I, the manager at autozone which is located directly across the street, would terminate, effective immediately, with cause. I was not in my Sunday best so I assume she felt she could speak to me anyway she pleased. I had one question which was why my account was accidentally overdrafted a few days prior but after putting money in my account I could not retrieve any money that day prior. Andrew, the visiting manager was able to answer my question with as if he was someone with common sense, no struggle and I left pleasantly. As a fellow black person with dreadlocks much like Erin herself, I do not write this lightly. But she is the type of person who does not appreciate her position and doesnt deserve it. She offered no help, demanded I call customer service and walked away from me when I asked her to and I quote "Please, stop cutting me off." I have been at this bank since it was Wachovia. This is unacceptable.
