First off I am not a member of this wretched establishment (thank GOD) I could tell on arrival customer care and service is abhorrent. The reason for my visit was to cash a 20k dollar insurance check to pay for a roof replacement, after giving the teller my ID and check, she stated they did not have the funds to cover the amount! What a bank can’t cover 20k! How are people doing business with a bank that can’t cash their own check or cover medium size cash withdrawals? The only thing True to state here, is that this place is BS in the Truist form possible!

My father passed and had a PoD for his account and I’ve had to make multiple trips in to close that account and have those funds transferred to myself and sister as the named beneficiaries. Every time I go in I’m given a different story of what I need to bring in to get this account closed and it changes. They’ve held onto my deceased fathers funds now for almost 2 months and I can’t seem to get the account closed out.
