- AWaimee wolfeAug 26, 20251.0Truist Bank is a joke! I have banked with Truist for over four years. They have done me so wrong by a deposit I made yesterday that I’m going to switch banks. I’ve already had my family switch banks because of how they lie to you, don’t keep their word, and switch dates on you. I made a deposit yesterday afternoon and was told that it would be credited on 08/27. Then I look online to check my account they have me in the negative. I called CS number and was talked to rudely by a supervisor. They now decided to place a hold on the check for two weeks. This is utterly unacceptable and ridiculous. I asked the teller how long the hold would be and was told 48 hours (I have the receipt to prove that). I’ve never been disrespected by a supervisor before. Now having to contact the branch and fight for my money. Please heed my warning DO NOT BANK WITH TRUIST!
