- DHDaniel HodgeNov 13, 20251.0I’ve been to the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Buford branch several times after hours, and the ATM is always broken or out of order. It’s really frustrating, especially since there are limited branches. This experience in addition to the customer service has made me stop using them as my primary bank — I only keep my account open to manage my auto loan. The fees are also ridiculous for a credit union.
- BFBrianna FullerNov 10, 20251.0Came in to this branch to close an account for a family member that’s passed away. This bank took what was already a stressful time and made it 10x worse. Tina “helped us” and she didn’t know how to do anything and had to keep asking for help, and both her and the older lady with the pixie cut were so incredibly rude and unhelpful it was ridiculous. Tina has the worst attitude and should not be in customer service. She refused to give us a copy of a document we had to sign, she couldn’t answer any of our questions, and we even had to come back because she did something wrong, yet she was rude when we had to waste more time driving back. Do not bank here unless incompetent, clueless, and rudeness appeals to you.

Ridiculous. Especially for having to find a way to get off work early just to get what I needed done.

Bank NEVER reported to me about a MAJOR CHANGE to one of my accounts ... Have 3 .... Learned from My credit monitoring account .... The ATM at this location is CONSTANTLY and CONSTANTLY either not working properly and/or not taking deposits. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this BANK!
- M6Mak 636Jul 9, 20251.0Trash bank, I've had so many problems with these guys in the past years, I can't even list them all. I use 2 other major banks, NEVER a single problem. But GA own, problems all the time. Last night the atm took my $100 bill, clicked deposit, and it spits out a receipt that says "we've encountered a problem". Ofcourse... so I call member service ( in India) , and they tell me that they cant help me after 45 minutes on the phone. So I have to waste more time and drive over there. This is my last straw of patience. Closing my account today. I've had it.
