We despise banks for the simple reason we were stabbed in the back again!
We avoid banks as much as possible to avoid the nit-picking fees that they apply and cold hearted employees we always end up communicating with. But unfortunately you need a large national bank to cash a large check or for a few other reasons. Same as always they have applied several unnecessary overdrafts after we set account to not overdraft!
Resulting in hundreds of dollars in fees and account being closed!
Now we have a $50,000 + check which they took a week (should have been 24 hours at most) to hang out now for weeks!
Thanks Truist for keeping up the Big Bank Theory true as always!

The worse experience ever, as a branch and as an institution.
Tree months ago ( March) I arrived to TRuist Blue Ridge location around 4:25pm. I ask to a teller for a executive to open an account. I was in front, across the small lobby watching and listening to Two executives chatting and chatting for like a 10 min.
I back to asked to the teller again if someone can take care about me. She was really embarrassed and she stand up from her place to meet the two executives that were chatting and chatting. Finally after 5 more minutes one of them (the 2 executives chatting) come to me and said it was too late, it was more than 4:30 and it wasn’t enough time to open an account.
It was so disappointing, they were chatting and chatting personal stuff and the clients waiting, is un respectful and definitely no ethic and the worse customer service.
I when to an other location. The person take care of me was huge , chastain Rd in Kennesaw location.
But in Less of 3 months I had been in trouble every single week. They hold every check I deposited ,
For a week and even more. t's been worn out.
And persons wrote checks to me were contact for ask “verification” if they wrote a check to me and the reason why. I’m so frustrated, hate this institution it’s been the worse ever in my life.
They’re putting my checks in hold, they using my money. they take it even when they received it from the account of where it came from
I invite you to review and share your experience. My is the worse ever in 25 year having bank accounts with other different institutions.

I hate to be a Karen here but we’ve been banking here for a long time and this has happened to many times the women Jerri that runs the drive thru is always so rude! No customer service at all. There is always something that she has to complain about when we come thru and she is the only employee there that complains about doing the things we need. She always had an attitude pretty sure it’s just because she don’t want to assist us. Something needs to be said or done to her by management of the BB&T/ Truist bank in blue ridge because we ignored her the first few time thinking she may be just having a bad day or something but now it’s every time we come thru with her working.

BB&T is the best bank in the world. The best people to work with. Just wish they had a branch in Highland, Indiana. I meet Mr. Burt Long, years ago when he was at East Ellijay office. He is the best person to deal with that I have met in the banking business.
