- AAA'shani Ackerman3 days ago1.0I went to the Wells Fargo branch at 1071 Chattahoochee Ave in Atlanta, GA around 1 PM to cash two legitimate checks that could have easily been verified. Instead of following proper protocol, the representative was rude, dismissive, and ultimately refused to cash my checks simply because I questioned why the process was taking so long. I asked calmly for their check-verification procedure, and rather than explaining, the employee became defensive and condescending. This kind of treatment was unnecessary and unprofessional. It felt discriminatory and disrespectful no customer should be treated that way for asking about standard banking procedures. I’ve banked with multiple institutions and never experienced anything like this. Wells Fargo should retrain their staff on professionalism, respect, and transparency when handling customers money. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate and considering legal action for discrimination and refusal of service. I was also able to get the check verified and cashed at another location. In 5 mins it was cashed in Atlantic STATION. She pulled up the checks and verified it instantly. I am also trying to escalate the video I have recorded of her.
