Deposited cash using the ATM a few days ago and had my card info stolen. Had to cancel my debit card and dispute several unauthorized transactions.

No matter how many customers are there there is never any hurry by staff to assist. Always SLOW. Simple deposit can take 5 mins once you actually get to the teller. It’s the craziest thing. I avoid this place as much as possible.

This branch refused to release money to me from my business account even though I provided them with my ID and debit card info. I’m the only on the account. They required me to provide my passport. Who travels domestically with their passport and carries it in their purse? The manager could have overridden the request and refused. Only had to come in to a branch after Zelle refused to allow me to send money. Down the street, Bank of America treated me like royalty. They were incredibly kind and helpful, accommodating my extenuating circumstances of needing to travel quickly and purchase a vehicle for my family after an injury. They had a tool they used to scan my ID and verify it’s legit. No problem with that! Verify all day! Bank of America helped me with my $17k wire transfer while Truist still holds my $3k hostage. We came out of pocket for a family member who was sitting with $6 in his account because of Truist’s horrendous customer service. Just honestly unnecessary and unbelievable to be treated like some sort of criminal and literally not be able to access your own funds. I will be removing funds as soon as I get home and would never recommend anyone bank with them.

Truist charged me nearly $800 in bank fees for canceling its merchant processing servicer (and other misc fees), involuntarily (and prematurely) closed my business operating account, and then (without authorization) took money out of a separate trust (as in off limits) account. I highly recommend that you NOT do business with Truist, and most certainly not this location.
