- TTTonyApr 17, 20241.0I signed up for a raffle at Huntsville Botanical Gardens' plant sale for a gift basket. I even joked with the people at the booth asking if they were going to try to de me something once they took my information for the drawing. They laughed and said no, nothing like that at all. Lo and behold, today I get a call from one of their advisors trying to get me to set up a time to meet. Okay, I get it - reach out and just offer your service, that's fine. But even after I declined he hard pressed me trying to pressure me into meeting with him, talking about how they don't charge any advisory fees - yet another review on here talks about them not being a fiduciary. I had to say no thanks so many times I just hung up in the end. Do not recommend.
- CSChris StezelOct 21, 20201.0Norman Plotkin was my advisor. Ask him if they have a fiduciary duty. They will not answer you. I left there a few years ago and, still to this date, everytime I speak to someone about something in my portfolio they shake their heads. Norm and Ashford Advisors put my in every Annuity, Life insurance, and high fee mutual fund they could find. In the three years I was with them, they made more money off of me then I made. That is all they care about. Do your research and stay way.
