Review – Truist Bank, Gaines School Road (Athens, GA)
My experience at this Truist branch started off well, but the quality of service dropped quickly after I became a regular customer. The staff lacks consistency in customer service, and it's difficult to get clear, direct answers about their banking processes.
Communication is vague, and instead of helping resolve issues, I was often left frustrated and confused. It feels like once they have your business, the customer care stops.
If you’re looking for a bank that prioritizes transparency and values long-term relationships, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I go inside once a month to take care of my banking needs and I'm always pleased with the service.

The slowest bank I’ve ever seen. I waited almost 33 mins in drive thru. Went inside and waited even longer and there was only one person in there. I’m seriously thinking about changing banks bc there’s an issue here everytime

I don't even know where to begin...but first things first, the Banker SETH K. is an AMAZING banker and person! I literally asked if I could give him a hug before leaving.😁 He fixed a issue I was having in two seconds when literally every person I spoke with on the phone kept lying, making up excuses and giving me the run around, wasting my time and being of no help at all. After being given the run around and all the days of waiting and researching the issue I was ready to close my account with Truist and not look back! But Seith restored my faith in humanity and I decided to give Truist another chance. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE AND A PROMOTION! Again, thank you Seith for being a GREAT person!

Daniel R. was absolutely fantastic while dealing with the headache of depositing my 15+ bonds. He was incredibly courteous and professional. Thanks again Daniel R, I really appreciate it
