- MMMarseyaDec 3, 20251.01st and 3rd of the month is typically the busiest day for most banks but the lack of customer service and attention is very apparent. Sat in the bank waiting to open an account and wasn’t spoken to let alone informed of a wait time. It was only one other person ahead of me on the sign in sheet and is sat in lobby for nearly 2 hours before getting up and leaving. When I did the person who was ahead of me was still waiting themselves. I have never been to any bank or credit union that took so long to get to anyone when there is 5 plus employees on hand at the time. Most of the other customers who came in for quick deposits also had a lengthy wait time or issues getting assistance with debit cards.really need some improvements

If it weren't for them it definitely be zero stars Since they have closed down other more convenient locations this location is overrun and there is always a long line to wait in. I have seen several people turn around and walk out when they seen the line. Thinking I need to make a change in banks.

I did not understand all of the negative reviews for Georgia's Own as I have always used the Leesburg Branch. On May 13,2025 I went by the Leesburg Branch ,to make a payment , to find a note on the door that this location had closed on April 25th. I then went to the branch on Westover and spent 53 minutes making a payment. One teller at the counter and up to 12 plus people in line. The gentleman at the window has some lengthy banking business to take care of and no other employee ever came forward to help the waiting customers.Customers were leaving without being helped and more were walking at the same time. I am going to have to make other arrangements as I do not have this amount of time to get someone to take a payment. Beware before yo try to bank at Georgia's Own Westover branch. I will not even start about the drive thru . It is just as bad.

HOWEVER, I Always want to talk to Debbie when I call because she is always sweet and professional. Recently, a lady acted as if I didn't know what I was talking about so I knew I needed to call when Debbie was there.
