- JJJ.W.Aug 18, 20251.0Just had to pay $160 in annual fees to close an account for someone who has been deceased for almost 4 years. All because the person who helped close out the accounts initially did not follow through with their responsibility. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

When making a deposit through the app on a phone, the format is such that the final “deposit” button is hidden below the screen and one has to scroll down to see it. Otherwise, of course, it fails. Same with paying a credit card statement. I usually pay a few days ahead and schedule the payment for the day before the due date. This time I wanted to check to ensure I’d scheduled a payment. Called the downtown Venice branch and was told they can’t see any scheduled payments. And, wouldn’t you know, neither can I on their new app. So I was sent to headquarters and an hour later I gave up - lousy phone menu, lack of understanding of the problem by a mid-level Venice Truist agent, etc. Turns out that I just went ahead and paid my bill -was a duplicate. I’m looking elsewhere in Venice for a bank that has at least a 4.9 star rating.
