Dealing with an identity theft case and I went to this bank to try and resolve the issue numerous times and have been told numerous times the issue was resolved. They are coming after me for over $3,000 for a credit card I never opened and had cancelled when I found out about it. Received paperwork stating the account was closed with $0 balance and then 5 days later they allowed a $2,900 transfer to another account.
This bank keeps denying my claim and expects me to pay them money for an account that was fraudulently opened. I even cancelled the account right away and they are still trying to come after me and my family.
I have a wife and kids and bills to pay. I don’t have time for this nonsense Truist Bank is trying to pull on me.
DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. Go anywhere else. Please read their reviews if you don’t believe me.

I went in to deposit a check and was met with the rudest employee. Every single time she asked a question, her responses and reactions were extremely rude. She was sure to visibly laugh and make snide comments after every response of mine clearly trying to degrade me. I simply wanted to deposit a check, the most basic request. I couldn’t imagine the frustration if someone had a more complex issue needing actual assistance and they were met with this poor level of customer service. I’ll never understand why people work in a service industry if they clearly hate their job and helping people. Evidently many have had similar experiences considering their reviews.

The worst banking experience ever. They keep closing branches. Soon they will all be out of state.

I had a major difficult issue with my debit card. Had to replace it and get a new one, in the meantime I had to get a temporary. This very sweet teller, Margaret, asked her supervisor, Jason, for help and all he did was roll his eyes and was extremely frustrated with the situation. He just walked away and she had to deal with it on her own. Margaret was amazing. Jason was awful. She should be in charge. I hope he learned a thing or two from this situation. He should go to Margaret for all his concerns going forward.
