Since then I've tried to call the bank multiple times per day, at different times, to discuss this appointment and report the issue - with no one ever available to answer the phone. I reported the potential fraud online. A bank having no staff to answer phone calls is absurd and inexcusable with a $19.7 Billion self-reported net income in 2024. There's plenty of money to spend hiring more bankers/staff to ensure a busy branch has enough staff to answer phone calls. Do better.
- RRReynaldo C RosarioJun 24, 20251.0At this bank the receptionists are liars, they lie to people unnecessarily, we went to cash a check made out to Wells Fargo and the young lady who helped us (Cuban) tells my wife that they don’t cash checks, that she had to have a bank account to be able to deposit it with Wells Fargo, that she couldn’t do anything, then I called Wells Fargo customer service in the bank parking lot and they told me that they should have cashed the check because the check was from the same bank, so I don’t really know who to believe, the Cuban receptionist who helped my wife or the girl who helped me on the phone about 20 minutes ago, we intended to open 2 bank accounts with them right there, how can you think that your money is safe with people who lie? Very disappointed in this bank, I thought it was something else like they portray it in the commercials.
