The woman, who I assume is the branch manager, told me she couldn’t do that large amount through the drive-thru. I asked her when did that start because I do it every month at other branches. She told me it’s always been that way and to go to the other branch then. I immediately called corporate and they confirmed that no limit of money through a drive-thru transaction was ever in place and in fact they looked through my history and saw my monthly withdrawals of large sums through the drive-thru. I went in today to close all of my accounts, because honestly, banking with Truist has been inconvenient and this was the tipping point I needed. The same woman was in there being antagonistic loudly bragging about our interaction to her coworkers. Good for you, lady, you must be so proud of yourself that poor customer service and attitude is driving off customers. Looking at the other reviews, it appears I’m not the only one she treats rudely. Don’t forget, this is the customers’ money you’re handling, not yours and not Truist’s. Avoid this location and this bank if you’re wise.
