- JEJohn EJan 17, 20191.0Homebanc was great first citizens bank sucks. I had overdraft protection so Homebanc would take it out of my money market account if I bounced a check. First citizens made me apply for a credit line and then denied me based on my bankruptcy 6 years ago....... Even though I have I've $20,000.00 in savings and money markets. Needless to say I will be closing my accounts.

(4 calls on 3 different phones including a landline) Calls to the branch go to voicemail, during regular business hours mind you. Call the number on the back of your card, they say you have to call the branch... Holding my money hostage and then dodging the customer is not a way to endear yourselves to customers homebanc!
