They refused to do so because I was not yet a client of the bank. That sounds like a great policy to prevent new people from every wanting to become clients. How petty! Lesson learned...

Card activation is antiquated, pushing callers to an IVR with no answer. Third party system that cannot deactivate a stolen card over weekends. Expired SSL certificates on websites endangering encryption. With all of these experiences I have had first hand, I CANNOT recommend Bank OZK.
