- LLLaquaviaAug 14, 20251.0The only reason they are getting 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option to give, If i could give this bank a Negative zero i would!!! I recently opened up a checking account with Citi Bank 8/11/2025, i was giving a temporary card to use until the permanent card comes in the mail, however whenever i try to make a purchase for something the card is declining, I've called numerous of times to have this matter corrected no one can tell me what's the issue and why does this keeps happening when i use my temporary card. i have to wait until the card comes in the mail for me to use my account.... This is a big inconvenience for me and I'm extremely upset.... I've reached out several times for either Diego Salazar who helped me open the account and also the branch manager Claudette for assistance and they have yet to call me back pertaining this matter! Do not open an account with this bank !!!!!! They will not return your calls or fix any issues you have.
