Worst branch around, they can never answer their phones and a few of the bankers are lazy and rude.

Been banking with WF for decades. Several personal and business accounts currently. This is the ONLY branch I have encountered that refuses to do any business or answer questions over the phone... and thats even if someone answers the phone. When they do answer the phone a clueless associate forwards me to the customer service line where they proceed to tell me that my concerns can only be handled by the BRANCH. What a nightmare. As a business owner I am appauled how they do business. Pick another BANK!!!
There is reason why Wells Fargo is voted the worst bank in the US for several years in row. This branch is an absolute disaster. Rude, unfriendly and incompetent, the worst customer service, period. I was a 32 year customer and today, no longer! I closed all my accounts and pulled all my money out after being ripped off via Wells Fargo Advisers (Brokerage account). Good luck Wells Fargo, I hope your business goes belly up and more people will catch onto your scam.

I warn everyone to avoid wells Fargo for MULTIPLE shady reasons. I've banked with almost a dozen different banks in my life, from small local ones to big corporations. Wells Fargo has consistently been the WORST. They place holds for literally no reasons, they try to block access to your money, again, with no valid reasons, they allow fraud without warnings... Just awful. And then I was added as a joint holder years ago to a family account and I was back in bed with these crooks. This particular branch was incredibly unhelpful, lied multiple times to my face, and even when my attorney reiterated that they legally have to keep my records on file for a set time, this branch is either refusing to give them to me, lying about them being purged (illegally), or they are just completely incompetent. And rude!! Very condescending while literally sitting under a sign that says they were founded on COURTESY.
And not that it matters, but one of the tellers was telling a dramatic woe-is-me story about how she BROKE her meniscus years ago, even when someone told her it's a muscle that literally can't break, she exclaimed that no, it had broken and she was in pain like nobody before. I don't like lies, and exaggerating like that is the same as a lie, but worse bc it makes you sound ignorant. How can I trust you to know how to do your job let alone manage my personal accounts??

Update / reply: I will definitely NOT be reaching out to "escalate" this issue, seeing as I was visiting today for something that took 3 different banks (chase, 5th 3rd, and BoA) only 2 minutes to accomplish. Meanwhile, it took Wells Fargo 1 hour and 45 minutes! To print a single document... I am so glad I closed my account with WF years ago. It sucks I had to come in at all, but it should have only been a quick in & out visit. 🙄

If I could give this bank a 0 star review I would. I came in almost a week ago with a large check that I had to deposit. I’ve never really had a check like this before and I wasn’t sure how things worked. Example: how long it would take to clear, if there was a hold time, what would be some reasons there is a hold time, if I could cash it instead of deposit it, what all my options are. I was assisted by 2 younger women there that immediately gave me the impression that I was a burden. I clearly didn’t know what to do, I had questions, I was a little distraught. They used kind words, but they didn’t sound kind. Almost impatient and annoyed with me. One I believe was some kind of manager as the second girl had to ask for her “override codes” to do something. They offered very little information and instead of being attentive and patient I was rushed to make a decision. “You can deposit this check now, but there is a hold time of 7 days or maybe you can try Amscot or something. I don’t know if they’ll handle a large amount like that though”. Not to mention whispering to each other as I was on the phone trying to find out what I’m supposed to do from my attorney’s office. They did try to do some kind of cash advance, but being that my account was negative by $53 they couldn’t do it. I was also told the wrong information about why there was a hold. One of the girls told me that I had a 7 day hold, because my account was negative and there was nothing she could do. When I called customer service and received a notice of the hold the information was different. I fully understand there was a hold time and though that may be upsetting, because I’m going through some financial issues, I felt like there could’ve been a little more compassion and understanding behind that counter. As well as better professionalism on their part. When a customer comes in and is nice to you, seems confused or needs help, you should try your best to assist them. I’m younger and I work in a customer service based job too. At the end of the day I’m very disappointed in how I was treated and having to call the customer care line over the last few days to try to understand what’s going on. I will not be returning this branch again and I suggest the same for anyone else that’s new to cashing or depositing checks, has questions or needs help. Hopefully someone higher up actually reads these reviews and takes them seriously. Best of luck!
