Hope you enjoy having nobody ever answer the phone, no matter how many times you call. Absolutely thinking about switching banks, this branch was better as a BB&T

WHO HOLDS ON CASH DEPOSITS? FOR SURE THE WORST MANAGED TRUIST BRANCH I’VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. This is the final straw. My cash & check deposits at a neighboring branch were put on “ATM HOLD” absent any explanation either online or from staff at the Spring Hill Drive branch. They also couldn’t explain why my $1000 ATM deposit was shorted by $200! It’s not the first time a TRUIST ATM HAS FAILED. BETTER FILM IT & HAVE A WITNESS. The staff-person at the Spring Hill Drive branch was extremely nice when we sat down today, explained the problem(s), and asked for an explanation. It’s not her fault. The Branch “helpline” lady was absolutely useless. Didn’t have a clue.I’m not even sure she looked at my records. The MARINER TRUIST ATM machine that can’t process a cash deposit? Then the NEXT bank puts holds on my cash deposits without explanation & doesn’t add my account properly? YES $1,200 is missing! It’s not the first time. Again, I must waste my day showing “TRUIST” how to do the most basic job: account reasonably for a deposit? What bank puts a hold on a small cash deposit? Is this “bank” putting holds on MY deposits due to their machine not working properly, forcing me to cancel the deposit and RE-DO the deposit? It appears, here at another branch that it didn’t return all the funds I deposited! What bank holds local checks or small checks from large commercial banks? Then, we have to go to the branch for “maybe, possibly answers” because there’s no operations people who go home early? WHERE’S THE MANAGER OF THE SPRING HILL DRIVE BRANCH?? This “bank” has overall, consistently demonstrated inconsistent carelessness and untrustworthiness ever since its’ “merger” of BB&T and SunTrust (which Kelly (the Mariner “Personal Senior Banker” said “wasn’t a merger, and things have gone downhill ever since”). According to one senior Spring Hill “personal banker,” Kelly, the “merger” was not a merger; but was a buyout of BB&T of SunTrust. Kelly was full of hot air, got angry at his own staff and told us all about how “you’re my client now,” and how he would help us. He didn’t even return our phone calls. That’s his business “practice!” He lost our affidavits and did t give two licks. I’m not really sure, but being a trained commercial banker, I can assure my friends, family and colleagues to avoid this institution in its’ entirety. Our family were happy SunTrust clients for over 20 years. Although BB&Truist doesn’t show any care at all about that, I can attest that ever since that merger, “TRUST” has been a non-consumer oriented FUBAR mess. People at this Mariner branch have lost my paperwork, haven’t advocated for me in fraud situations, and apparently can’t even properly accept cash deposits through their ATMs! $200 missing in action. Lastly, it’s appears this “bank” can’t even add up an account properly. Even after accounting for the deposits made, they’re still $1,000 short with only speculative answers. Pathetic. WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THESE PEOPLE, THEY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE, ALMOST NEVER, DON’T GET BACK TO YOU AT MARINER; OR DON’T RETURN YOUR CALL IN A REASONABLE TIME FOR THEIR ERRORS (AT MARINER). THIS BRANCH MARINER NEEDS AN OVERHAUL. The U.S. Federal Comptroller of the Currency and Florida Department of Financial Services may be the place for this information. The photos below are from one of the failed transactions at the ATM Drive-Thru at Mariner; but for some unknown reason, all my ATM Transactions AT THIS BRANCH ARE ON ATM HOLD. WHO PUTS HOLDS ON DEPOSITS WITHOUT EXPLANATION? WHO SHORTS PEOPLE $1,200 WITHOUT EXPLANATION? NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND NO ACCOUNTING ABILITY. AVOID AT ALMOST ALL COSTS.

When you read the complaints, it's by irresponsible people who can't perform the tasks of simple arithmetic in not overdrafting. They have Always been professional and courteous to me, but then again I know how to balance a checkbook.
