WHO HOLDS ON CASH DEPOSITS? WORST MANAGED TRUIST BRANCH IâVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.
This is the final straw. My cash & check deposits at this branch were put on âATM HOLDâ absent any explanation. The staff-person was extremely nice when we sat down today, explained the problem(s), and asked for an explanation. Itâs not her fault. The Branch âhelplineâ lady was absolutely useless. Didnât have a clue.
The MARINER TRUIST ATM machine that canât process a cash deposit? Then the NEXT bank puts holds on my cash deposits without explanation & doesnât add my account properly? YES $1,200 is missing!
Itâs not the first time. Again, I must waste my day showing âTRUISTâ how to do the most basic job: account reasonably for a deposit?
What bank puts a hold on a small cash deposit? Is this âbankâ putting holds on MY deposits due to their machine not working properly, forcing me to cancel the deposit and RE-DO the deposit?
It appears, here at another branch that it didnât return all the funds I deposited!
What bank holds local checks or small checks from large commercial banks? Then, we have to go to the branch for âmaybe, possibly answersâ because thereâs no operations people who go home early? WHEREâS THE MANAGER OF THIS BRANCH??
This âbankâ has consistently demonstrated inconsistent carelessness and untrustworthiness ever since itsâ âmergerâ of BB&T and SunTrust (which Kelly (the Mariner âPersonal Senior Bankerâ said âwasnât a merger, and things have gone downhill ever sinceâ).
According to one senior Spring Hill âpersonal banker,â Kelly, the âmergerâ was not a merger; but was a buyout of BB&T of SunTrust.
Iâm not really sure, but being a trained commercial banker, I can assure my friends, family and colleagues to avoid this institution in itsâ entirety.
Our family were happy SunTrust clients for over 20 years. Although BB&Truist doesnât show any care at all about that, I can attest that ever since that merger, âTRUSTâ has been a non-consumer oriented mess. People at this Mariner branch have lost my paperwork, havenât advocated for me in fraud situations, and apparently canât even properly accept cash deposits through their ATMs! $200 missing in action.
Lastly, itâs appears this âbankâ canât even add up an account properly. Even after accounting for the deposits made, theyâre still $1,000 short with only speculative answers. Pathetic.
WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THESE PEOPLE, THEY DONâT HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE, ALMOST NEVER, DONâT GET BACK TO YOU AT MARINER; OR DONâT RETURN YOUR CALL IN A REASONABLE TIME FOR THEIR ERRORS (AT MARINER).
THIS BRANCH & MARINER NEEDS AN OVERHAUL.

WHO PUTS HOLDS ON DEPOSITS WITHOUT EXPLANATION? WHO SHORTS PEOPLE $1,200 WITHOUT EXPLANATION? NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND NO ACCOUNTING ABILITY.
AVOID AT ALMOST ALL COSTS.

I had to meet my husband at this branch to pull out money before i went to work. I was in my car for less than 15 minutes before a security guard and branch manager approached my car and told me to leave. I explained the situation and the guard said itâs not his rules and the manager is asking me to leave when I still needed my husband to use the ATM. So inconsiderate and rude. I can see if I was there for an hour. But less than 15 minutes and they made me move. Will never use this branch again.
