I had an extremely disappointing experience at this branch due to the behavior of the manager Richie Bhagwandass. Not only was he disrespectful and dismissive, but I was also given incorrect information that caused unnecessary confusion and stress. When I asked for help, the manager showed no willingness to assist and instead treated me with an attitude that was completely unprofessional.
A person with such conduct should not be in a management position. Customers deserve accurate information, respectful treatment, and support when dealing with important financial matters…none of which I received here.
I strongly urge the higher management of Valley to look into this branch and take action. Never in my life have I been treated this way and I hope no other customer will have to go through a similar experience.

This bank is terrible. I did not choose them for my auto loan the dealership did and they have been very deceptive with their practices and I think it is possibly illegal what they are doing with their auto loans. The put a cap on how much you can make as an electronic payment to the loan. If you make a large payment one month before you normal due date then you reach your monthly maximum that you can pay and your normal monthly autopay will not go through. Then they assess late fees which cannot be payed by making a payment on the account. You have to call them and pay these fees directly by saying you want to pay late fees. So the next month when you make a larger payment to pay these fees that should never have been assessed, it still does not pay the late fee and your next payment is considered late. When I called and finally got someone on the phone this person apologized and said they would have the fees waived and that they could not send me confirmation, but that I would know when I received my next bill. Well the next bill came and it has another late fee on it despite having paid my normal payment as well as a large additional payment this month. I try and call again to talk to someone and the estimated wait time is 30 mins. Do not bank with these people they do everything they can to assess fees and not allow you to pay them.

I was very appreciative of Roger's help with my questions about obtaining a HELOC with Valley Bank.
He answered all my questions and was very pleasant. After we spoke, he called to let me know about a HELOC promotion the bank was having. I was thrilled to hear about it. The promotion gave me an even more reason to move forward.
I applied, was approved and got a great promotional rate. Thank you Roger, for all your help in making that happen. I could not be happier.

Our bank was acquired by Valley and we have been worried we wouldn’t get the personal touch we were used to. Well, we were proven wrong when we visited our Sarasota branch today. We went in with a long list of things to accomplish for both business and personal accounts. We were greeted by Roger and he immediately sat us down and dug into our requests. Roger accomplished everything we needed with patience and a sense of humor. And, while he was working on something, his co worker jumped in and proactively made a call on our behalf! We left the bank saying how nice it is to feel we have a bank that we can go into and are sure to be known and taken care of. Who says banks don’t have the personal touch anymore?! Thank you Roger!

This bank uses the most archaic systems, won't return phone calls, and zero support. Every other one of my banks responded within minutes or hours. Valley has told me on many occasions that they will return my calls but they refuse. During these unprecedented times I've asked to defer a payment and they have refused to even respond to me. It's been 20+ days and no response. I wouldn't recommend Valley to anyone. I am filing a report with the Federal Reserve System hoping they see that this bank ignoring customers and in fact causing more financial hardship.
