- RJRickardo JamesSep 11, 20251.0My experience today at this location left much to be desired. I have been in business for many years in the swfl region and have been paid by clients in check form without incident until now, where I was racially targeted by the staff. Though I don't mind any bank verifying information to ensure no one is being taken advantage of, I do not appreciate being treated, spoken to like something was wrong. So I called my "Caucasian" client and he came down after they already verified he issued the check, the branch manager I assume went on ask what job my client was paying me to do, I told her "it was not her business and if a white business owner came in she would have handled that situation quite differently". When my client showed up to the bank shortly, they were trying to be apologetic and he didn't even respond because he was so embarrassed at their behavior. They should be trained on how to deal with everyone. Then one of the ladies had the gall to say they handle customers of my kind regularly, I just laughed but burning inside at the hatred that these people are taught from a young age. They will never see what someone like me experiences because they are not a minority. I hope and pray for their hatred that they'll receive the training they need to work with the public regardless of color.
