Truist, in St. Petersburg, FL, is a horrible building!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I've lived in Philadelphia, Boston, New York and hands down this set up, architecturally at Truist, is the WORST!!! The doctors office that I needed to get to for my appointment is in a connected building. I am. Handicap, and was forced to park in the truist parking garage on the 4th deck (required) and pay $15 parking fee. We walked under dangerous conditions, cars were leaving, to the third deck and got in the elevator. The parking elevator opens into a lobby, where we were required to take another elevator to the doctor's office, in a separate building. My daughter timed the entire ordeal, and it takes 10-15 minutes from the time a client parks to reach your final destination. If I were a business, I WOULD NEVER PAY TO HAVE MY SITE LOCATION IN THIS BUILDING. Horrible experience, found a new doctor because it's way too much walking if your handicap. Not to mention, they didn't really have any designated handicap spaces. My advice, bulldoze the building and make it functional.

Extremely Disappointed with Service at Grand Central Truist Branch I regret choosing this location for any banking services. The wait time was excessive, and when we finally received assistance, the representative seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures, specifically how to add me to an existing account. He asked for personal details like my employer and income without explaining why, which made me very uncomfortable. Only after I questioned the purpose did he clarify it was to preset information for future services. That is not how I expect my data to be handled. After an hour of waiting to sign paperwork, we were told our debit cards would arrive in 5 to 7 business days. It has now been nearly four weeks, and we still have not received them. I had to call customer service twice, and both times my husband had to be present because I was not properly added to the account. Eventually, I went to the Eagle Park branch, where staff had to call Grand Central to investigate. The representative admitted the paperwork I signed had never been submitted and was lost in the pile. That is unacceptable. Even now, on September 19, 2025, our debit cards still have not been issued. I called customer service again, and they confirmed no card request had ever been submitted. This entire experience has been frustrating and time-consuming. Banking should be efficient and secure, not a rigamarole of missteps and poor communication. Employees represent the brand, and unfortunately, this branch left a deeply negative impression. I am now reconsidering whether Truist is the right bank for us.

I've banked with Suntrust for years and they've been a great bank but it wasn't until today that I had an exceptional experience. I had an issue depositing an insurance check and Amanda went above and beyond to help me get the situation sorted out. I have never experienced customer service like what she did for me today. I'm so glad I went to her branch for this!
