At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that Truist cares about their bankers, I have had constant issues banking with them since their merger, and my goal this year is to take my banking elsewhere. Took me 10 phone call transfers and 1 hour to not find a solution to my issue.

The WORST Bank. Many things to say; this is the one I’ll share. On 3 occasions I had a random 10 day hold put on a check I deposited. I was told by supervisors (and laughed at) because I had a low balance, the hold was placed. Ok, I get the check has to clear. On all 3 occasions, I had deposited checks from the same people on prior dates and they cleared within 24 - 48 hours, as they did, in their accounts on the 3 10 day hold situations, but I still had to wait 10 days. That’s right, Truist held my money, that I needed to pay bills, for 8 additional days after they received the funds. I am wondering how that is even legal. I have a situation to straighten out currently, and then I’m out. Yes, there are a couple of nice tellers, but that is all there is. Beware, a few nice tellers do not make the Bank

Not only are the employees at this branch extremely rude and unprofessional, they give conflicting information from what is given by the Truist customer service and offer no explanation. When I asked what an "administrative hold" is, a term written on a receipt from their own ATM, they confirm THEY DO NOT KNOW. Told by Truist customer service to go to the branch for phone call recordings with customer service, branch says no they will not provide.
Truly the worst banking experience of my entire life. Do yourself a favor and look for another bank. Multiple complaints filed against them at the Financial Consumer protection Bureau, Multiple lawsuits.
