We explained to the td employee that my stepson needed an account for a direct deposit. I'm not going to name who will be depositing each month for security reasons. The employee opened the account saying there was a $500 minimum daily balance required. We asked if the direct deposit coming in excess of $500 would be acceptable. " That's fine", the employee said. We did tell the employee we were unsure of the date of the first direct deposit. He said " no worries ", if any fees are incurred, the bank would pay. The direct deposit wasn't made until 46 days after the account was opened. My wife and stepson has to wait for the government agency to make the deposit. The delays were caused the government agency
