    Beware as a consumer truist now makes you responsible for any fraudulent activity up front. If you have direct deposits coming into your account and fraudulent activity happens on your account your financially responsible until their investigation is done. Which means you won't have access to funds being direct deposited to your account. I had fraudulent activity done on my account and have disability pay and payroll deposit to my account. So my account now is in a negative status and any funds deposited I have to pay for first. The other concern is they use offshore customer service. How do you know that that representative in another country is not going to use your information for their benefit. In what concern would that country have about your funds when it's not their country. Truist is putting their shareholders profits ahead of their consumers.

    Customer service is terrible. Had issues with savings account. Interest had not accrued. Courtney assured as in person, that error was fixed. Statement arrived this month, error still not fixed. Phoned Courtney, she stated that she would speak to someone and call us the next day. 4 days later and still waiting.

    Went in on a Saturday and only two people were there to help. The one teller was controlling the counter and the drive-through and the other one sitting at a desk was busy chatting on the phone to her husband about personal things while sipping on her drink. When I politely explained that I was on a time schedule and asked if there was someone that could help she put her phone down and said no I’m sorry we are shortstaffed on Saturday. Would have been nice if the woman at the counter had some help.
