I have been a customer of Truist Bank for several years and have had documents notarized at other locations with no issues, so I expected a professional experience when I visited the Port Orange Nova Road branch. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I asked about notarizing a very basic document that was not sensitive or anything that would typically be refused, I was left waiting while multiple staff members asked the same questions. Ultimately, the assistant branch manager, Liz, reviewed the document and refused to notarize it. While I understand a notary’s right to decline documents, her demeanor was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I requested her card to file a complaint, it was withheld in a manner that felt patronizing and disrespectful. It was disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and awareness in customer interactions. Respectful and knowledgeable service is essential, especially in positions of authority, and this experience fell far short. I would caution anyone seeking competent and courteous service to be mindful of this branch and my interaction with Liz.

The Branch MANAGER here has no business dealing with the public. Absolutely HORRENDOUS attitude.

Awful customer service. The branch manager has no care or respect for her clients, let alone business clients. I'll be withdrawing all my funds, business funds, and millions of my clients funds and placing them with a bank that makes me feel appreciated and seen when I talk through the door given I am a wealth client and so are my clients. We'll see how much it effects Truist given the recent collapse of SVB & Signature Bank. Maybe more clients will pull their money as they see the funds being moved. Feeling ignored and then disrespected is unacceptable by any employee, let alone the branch manager. (3 of the 4 bankers were doing nothing as I walked in and proceeded to wait for 10 minutes and then be snarkled at when I questioned if my wife and I were seen as we walked in and sat down) - joke of a once great financial institution. It all comes down to the people you choose to represent your brand, truist failed at this location. The Branch manager and the male banker (new) both deserve to be fire, immediately, or demoted an placed through customer service training.
