- LSL SNov 10, 20251.0Stay away from this bank. We opened a 6 figure CD plus a qualifying checking account and were told the checking account had $0 fees. The first statement showed the account balance and $0 fees, however the 2nd month statement showed the same account balance plus a deduction of $9 in fees. We first called customer service but were told " sorry, that account has fees and there is nothing we can do". So we drove to the branch where the account was opened, explained the history and again were told " sorry, there is nothing we can do". So we now have closed the checking account and taken the remaining balance to my other bank (obviously NOT Bank OZK). Moral.of the story- this is Bait and Switch Bank, stay away from them at all costs. If the deal they are offering is better than the other banks, there is a reason and it won't be to your benefit.
