I stopped by to cash a check and do some last minute shopping at the mall. Kaleb the bank teller greeted me and informed me there would be a $10.00 fee since I did not have an account. I assured him that would be fine and waited for my cash. I noticed Kaleb was about to hand me a lot of $2.00 bills. I inquired about the amount and he responded that's how the machine did it and that he had no control over it. He tries to hand me a mixed assortment to include 95 $2.00 bills. I then told him I had no need for 95 $2.00 bills and that I did not want them. He was very rude and continued to open his cash drawers to show me he had no money in them and that I had to accept the mixed assortment the machine gave me. I asked for the manager and he informed me she had just left and would be back in about 20 minutes. I told him I would wait. At the time there was only one person in line but that soon changed. Another teller named Laura came up to the counter and told Kaleb she would help him get caught up. She asked me if she could help and I informed her about what happened. She quickly took the 95 $2.00 bills and exchanged them for a larger assortment of bills. I thanked her again and wished her a Merry Christmas. Then turned to Kaleb and said now that wasn't hard at all and wished him a Merry Christmas.
Kaleb was extremely rude and very snide. He might want to think of another line of work outside of the customer service industry. Laura on the other hand was very helpful and professional.

did not ask if I wanted large bills or not for withdrawal of $2600. (gave back $1000 in twenties) Teller said that was what was in their drawer.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My daughter went into a Wells Fargo branch today to cash a check, only to be told that it was “flagged” for some reason. She politely asked for the check back so she could take it elsewhere, and they told her “okay.” What they didn’t bother to mention was that they had already printed on the check — voiding it out completely.
When she went to another bank to try to cash it, it looked as though she was trying to cash the same check twice. She was completely humiliated and made to feel like she was attempting something fraudulent when she absolutely was not. The entire situation was caused by Wells Fargo’s lack of communication and care.
To make matters worse, after the fact, they told her that she could come back and they could place a sticker over the barcode they printed — something that’s apparently supposed to be done if they’re unable to cash or deposit the check. That sticker would have prevented this entire situation. But by the time they mentioned that, the damage was already done.
Because of this ordeal, my daughter had to cancel her dog’s emergency surgery and reschedule her own medical procedure that was set for Monday. This has caused her stress, embarrassment, and emotional distress that could have easily been avoided if Wells Fargo employees had simply handled the situation properly from the start.
We will absolutely be contacting the corporate office, but I wanted this review to serve as a warning to others: this was unprofessional, careless, and completely unacceptable. Wells Fargo, you owe my daughter an apology and accountability for the chaos you caused. Do better.

Worst customers service ever, confusing and disrespectful! I guess because we are Asian and they looked down on us..? They hesitated to serve us even thou we are banking with them!
