The people at this branch are RIDICULOUS! I have never had a bad experience previous but this most recent interaction I had 20 minutes ago just left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole branch. I came to use the ATM machine and it took my card (destroying it I assumed). We (my mother and I) saw a Banker just walk into the bank, and my mother got out to ask her a quick question. Her co-worker walking up then proceeds to have the NASTIEST attitude with my mom stating that the bank did not open until 9, and stood there as if my mother was some kind of criminal trying to rob the bank. Then both workers proceed to stand in the same spot until my mother got back in the car and pulled off. Wells Fargo isn’t even a good enough bank to care that much ma’am. Wells Fargo, do yourself a favor and hire people who are actually willing to hear the customer out before treating them like they’re a problem because that’s how you’ll continue to lose customers and trust me you just lost one.

Unnecessary Barriers, Needs Better Training I brought two new immigrants with valid DV-1 visas to this branch to open an account. We had all the required documents according to the law and the bank’s policy. Despite this, the employee assisting us demanded extra proof, which is impossible for someone who arrived only a week ago to provide. We opened an account at another bank on the same block, where our documents were accepted immediately without question. This experience made me feel that the employee either held prejudice against immigrants or was not confident in her role. She refused to give me a written explanation of the rejection. This kind of treatment is unacceptable for a major bank. Customers should not face arbitrary barriers or inconsistent service, especially when opening a bank account. This branch loses new clients quickly — and potentially significant long-term clients — by creating unnecessary barriers that competitors don’t

Got Pneumonia, Bought a $5 Salad, and Was Charged $35 for It, and staff tried to parent me instead of giving me, compassion or understanding. When I was 19, I was working while actively sick with pneumonia, trying to survive. I spent $5 on a Zaxby’s salad and put gas in my car to get to work. That $5 overdraft triggered a $35 fee from Wells Fargo. I called and explained everything—I was disabled, visibly ill, and doing my best. The representative didn’t offer compassion. Instead, they told me I “shouldn’t have eaten out that day.” Let me say that again: I was sick, alone, working, and the takeaway from Wells Fargo was that I should’ve skipped dinner. Not only was I denied a fee waiver, I was emotionally berated while sobbing over the phone, and eventually pushed out of my own account entirely. For needing one meal. This bank doesn’t care about customers unless forced to. There is no support for low-income, disabled, or chronically ill people—only punishment, shame, and hidden fees. So today? I’m closing my account. And I’m leaving this here, not because I expect Wells Fargo to care—but so anyone else who’s been gaslit, gouged, or guilted by this bank knows they’re not alone. We deserve better. And we remember.
