- AKAndrew KochJan 5, 20261.0Scummy and shady bank. Opened up a checking account and deposited some money from another checking to fund the account. I received a paper statement in the mail a while after and was charged $3 to the account, which is ridiculous in the year 2026 where every other bank defaults to e-statements, or asks if you would like to enroll when you sign up. I called customer service to ask about the charge, and they were unhelpful. The way to enroll in e-statements is buried in a separate menu within the app. They were not willing to reverse the charge and let me cancel the account with no hassle, which tells me they know exactly what they are doing, and this happens fairly often.

They inappropriately handle funds, and in my personal experience, they have stolen my remaining balance after I closed my checking account and credit card with them. Claimed to of issued a refund check, I never received it, they would never provide proof of the refund, tracking, etc. Then after a year of following up asking for my refund they insisted on charging me a fee to reissue a check that they said was never cashed. This behavior is utterly deplorable and unacceptable towards their customers. Disgusted.

Closed the accounts and still had money left in the account so they claimed to of issued a check I never received. Claimed they couldn't provide proof of refund but can say refund check never cashed, and they would need to charge ME money to issue a check for my refund. Trash and completely disgusting to treat your customers like this.

Alexandria is who we also see for our family accounts and she always makes it a point to fully explain the financial process and allow us to completely understand our position.
