The teller, after reviewing my identification, claimed that I could only deposit the check. This was incorrect, as the check was a Wells Fargo check. She proceeded to provide false reasons for why she couldn’t cash it. When I asked for further assistance, she stated there was nothing she could do. After reaching out to the school board and another Wells Fargo branch, I was informed that there should have been no issue with cashing the check. What’s more, the teller herself admitted she had cashed OCPS checks before and knew there shouldn’t be any issues. Despite this, she chose to make excuses and refused to assist me.
